Sera? the one underneath the layers (onion like) of the social demands who keep the 'real me' well looked after and protected deep inside: a creature that hides and remains intact from childhood memories, coping with the true self and the secret reasons that motivate it and.... the other one, the one that "I'm not" but ended up believing "to be" based on what others believed that I was.
Sounds complicated does it not? Nothing like approaching 60 to find out that you are an incredible human being and a total failure at the same time, hence the title of the post. Two in one.
On a more humorous note though, the two of us are not enemies. Although highly critical of each other, admiration is there as we believe that deep inside, there is a loving child, a busy teenager, a woman of substance, a playful adult and a responsible, genuine and good human being.
What no one suspects is that being both is what makes me what I AM, therefore; for those of you who've only met one of me, my wish is to tell you that it is well worth it, in any relationship you have, to get to know 'the two in one' as it will help you enjoy and live with both and not think too much of which one are you with right now..................but, it will make the journey so much easier because you, yourself, you are also "two in one" and...... it really does take TWO TO TANGO.... ( ^ - ^ )....
Writing about non important things, is good therapy for those moments when you feel 'odd', bored, wishy washy and cannot really quite grasp the meaning of what takes place around you. Non important things help clear the head, get you to change lanes and, suddenly you find yourself in a totally different space which may then bring a new topic for the 'two of you' to play with!
Dois sentidos, night and day, hot and cold, black and white, soft and hard, good and bad, sweet and sour, tall and short, fat and thin and..... MOM AND DAD. An eager sperm, an inviting egg et voila! you have the 'two in one' and then is YOU !!!!! hope you are laughing by now....
