To learn or not to learn. This is a question alright. We seniors are confronted with this dilemma every time we need to learn something new which we don´t necessarily find easy to do.
Persistence, that can help. The wish to be able to do it! to find the tools to go forward. An everyday battle or choice. I am talking about managing to use this tiny plastic enemy and friend with whom we seniors have a "love/hate" relationship. COMPUTERS !!!!
They are a challenge and a kind of ´secret lover´. I have, over the years felt a rainbow of emotions as I venture into this square screen and type never ending messages to loved ones, good old friends, far away family. Continents, confessions, anger, love, forgiveness, sharing.
The list is never ending. How can this plastic square feel like a part of your life?
It holds so many hours of concentration, talent, creativity, desperation, tears, frustration, pleasure, joy, intimacy, togetherness. A plastic square filled with miracles....
Thank you family and friends for the patience donated to my stubborn brain which.. slowly but surely will manage to find the orange square where it says (PUBLISH) and not take more than a split second to do so....
Sunrise in Cascais is the picture of this post. As the sun, I will rise as well and learn to become one with this square and shine through my posts. Perseverance and a bit of luck will help.
