DR PHIL/ GETTING A CHILD BACK ON TRACK

"Son, you're at an age where your choices affect you more than they affect us. Though Dad and I want to see you suceed and will always support you, we're talking about your dreams, not ours. So I am asking two things of you here. First, I'd like to hear what's going on with you. Why the complete about-face? Second, I'm urging you to think about the consequences of your choices, because you've got a lot at stake now. I love you and want to see if there's a way I can help before you set yourself up for a very differente future than the one you've always wanted."Image may be NSFW.

Life, and who ever said that life was going to be easy? Zig Ziglair, in his 'see you at the top' tapes used to say "if you are tough on yourself, life is going to be infinitely easier on you" It took me years to understand what he meant by that. But today? I believe he was right. Had I not been this tough on myself, I believe I would no longer be here standing straight and willing to keep on going, no matter how tough it may get.

But.... Jack Canfield (of the olden days) showed me how fragile some of us are when it comes to believing that we deserve all the good there is without having to shed blood, sweat and tears.

If you look at this picture, the sky and the sea, although two very different and 'separate' elements, join in perfect harmony. One blends with the other and like in a dance, join in a togetherness that in my view, we mothers have the priviledge to experience the second we give birth to a new born.

Mothers, I challenge you to tell me otherwise and... wish you best of luck on the journey of being the mother your off springs wish you to be..................
